Ladies, How do you feel about your man carrying a purse? Okay, maybe they are not considered purses, they can be referred to as 'Man Bags'. Is it okay for a man to bring a 'Man Bag' along on a date? I once went on a date with a man who wore skinny jeans with a tight silk tee with a huge 'Man Bag'. I asked him while intoxicated towards the end of our date,(did not want to waste my liquid courage) Are you Gay? He laughed and assured me that he was not. I then asked why do you have that big man purse and what the hell is in it? He claimed that he had his gym clothes and sneakers from earlier in the bag. WTF?

Hey Now.. I am not completely against men carrying bags... I just do not like 'Man Bags'. There are some BAGS that get a pass. I understand men travel and need to carry on their things. A lot of men like us balance their day and dates, straight from the office to taking us out at night. However I was always the type of girl who expected you to leave your S#!% in the car and just bring your wallet. I prefer a man who does not have as much baggage as I have. I feel cute when a man asks me to hold his sunglasses case or hold on to his camera etc while we are out and about. Simply put.. The Airport- PASS. Work Brief Case- PASS. Child Care- PASS. Andre Leon Tally- PASS. Anywhere Else- FAIL. A man wearing a huge purse is emasculating. Men should be gentlemen not girlie men.

Man, I hate it when women step on my turf too... pants? C'mon ladies, pants are for men! And women are going to school and taking actual courses and stuff in university now - man, I do NOT want a girl to have as much of a career as me. Girls belong in the kitchen and at home. No more of this, "I can be a boy if I want to" stuff!

BTW my friends and I say "HEY GIRL!!!!" all the time. I get called black girl all the time.. I happen to be a girl that is black.. I don't have my panties in a bunch..even when they called me a tomboy.. I was proud to climb trees in my dresses and skate board in my school skirts. Troll I have traditions like a lot of others do that I want my men to follow.. it is my preference, my culture, my business. Wake up drone. I can give birth.. there are things that I can and will not do. You can NEVER give birth no matter how hard you Dragulate there are things you can NEVER do and will NEVER DO. There are traditions that I still find important in men. I don't want my man cross dressing.. it is not traditional for a man to dress like a woman if he is heterosexual.. How am I to know a man is not on the DL to protect myself from his double dipping?? It is a slippery slope when we do not define who we are in traditional ways ....Tradition can help prevent confusion. Of course a man can be perceived to be "manly" and be on the DL.. However it helps if he is not carrying a purse or wearing popping lip gloss. This in no way means that gay men can't enjoy being feminine. They like men and should do things to attract men which creates a tradition within their own community. I wear dresses, do my nails and put on make up to attract men.. HELLO it is a tradition. If I go out to the club in a men's suit... guess what sweetie.. I am not being pick up by the men I desire.. I would be casted on the L word. Traditions are usually subject to a person's culture or the society in which they live. The way we dress says a lot about who we are in todays society.. thats why Chaz wears men clothing because she had a sex change. Chaz is OBVIOUSLY following what she feels is traditional for men. Is she wrong? She is actually a he now respectfully. Go Chaz!! Why do we have to wear different clothes to a job interview or the club??TRADITION!!! You probably dress like a girly man following the tradition of your fellow girly men.. And sweetie believe me Gay man DOES NOT = Girly man. Girly men are neurotic confused whiners. Get real. Get a grip. Take a class in reading and comprehension. And a class in history and traditions.
