Jealousy is the surest way to get rid of the very person you are afraid of losing. When you say I love you, it means "I want the very best for you whether or not I am included." You must acknowledge any feelings of jealousy to understand what they are. Jealousy is a signpost of the longings in your subconscious mind. It reminds you that what you are longing is also longing you. There are only two emotions, love and fear.  When jealousy comes up, stop and recognize that it is actually fear raising its ugly head. Fear of losing someone or something, fear that there is not enough. If you allow yourself to be jealous, you cannot love. It is important to acknowledge all your feelings and not beat yourself up for having them. Your feelings are not good or bad, they just are. Jealousy is simply reminding you that you are worthy of the best. When you remember who you are, the jealousy will dissolve and you will be ready to receive what you want.

Kerry Washington has earned her Diva status as UrbanHaute Femme Of The Moment. Being born in the Bronx and staying true to her roots has made her loved by UrbanHautes all over the world. Her fashion sense is to be daring and unapologetic fascinating our imaginations.   Ms. Washington birthday ends the month on January 31st.  This Honorary UrbanHaute has been in the game since 94' appearing in independent films. I remember watching one of her powerful performances in an indie film a decade ago thinking that with her looks and skills she has to blow up. Finally Ms. Washington arrived gaining notoriety that made her a household name in the movie 'Ray" alongside Jamie Foxx.  Since then KW has been busy turning it all to GOLD.  This gorgeous recipient of a B.A. in theater from The George Washington University has used her intellect to widen her horizons. Modeling Contracts from L'Oreal to directing a music video for Common, Hanging out with Michelle Obama on political endeavors, KW shows us she is multi faceted in her talents to entertain and inspire. The ASET golden deep brown goddess will soon turn her sights to screenwriting and production. Kerry Washington is simply amazing.  In this Hollywood game that deflates the youth and demonizes the bronze goddess KW has managed to stay AFLOAT.

Looking Forward....

2010 was a bad year for many. Lost careers, loved ones and for some sanity. However everyone I speak to is optimistic about 2011. It is a genuine optimism not a desperate hope that 2011 would have to deliver or else. I believe 2011 will be the year of heighten consciousness. Without material wealth many of us have discovered or returned to wealth of the mind and spirit. This is the year to embrace one self, love, share and be. The year of not wanting. No longer waiting. Be. Now.

2011 is the year for all who are tired and weary to rest unleashing their inner powers. Enjoying life every moment loving your family. Laughing with friends building everlasting moments. Opening up to life the way it is intended to be. Stop fearing and living in limitation. A year to be honest. To see the light and become the truth for all in darkness to be illuminated. A time to share.

Be blessed in 2011 EVERYDAY. Remembering despite what we think we have lost, we still have our smiles and the will to get up again. Dust 2010 off. Face the Sun and regenerate under the moon. The Creator loves you.
